We celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism in two main forms. Adults are generally baptized on the Easter Vigil after a period of formation, though in special cases approval can be obtained to celebrate the Sacrament almost any other day of the year. Generally, when celebrated on the Easter Vigil, the individual will also receive the Sacraments of Confirmation and Holy Eucharist at the same time.
To have your child baptized at Spirit of Life, St. Anthony or St. Martin fill out the information for baptism form HERE and you will be contacted by Konnor Peterson. If this is the first time you are having a child baptized there is a baptism preperation class that will need to be completed. All Godparents must fill out the baptismal sponsor affidavit HERE.
*Note a Godparent must be at least 16, not the parent of the one being baptized, and be in good standing with The Church. Two Godparents are allowed, but only one is required. If there are two, one must be male and one must be female.
Regarding Christian Witnesses (Non Catholic baptized Christian): A baptized person who belongs to a non-Catholic ecclesial community is not to participate except together with a Catholic sponsor and then only as a witness of the baptism.
Baptisms are scheduled immeadiatly after the 5pm Saturday Mass and the 11am Sunday Mass. To allow parents to baptize their child as soon as possible, we will schedule more then one family per time and baptisms will be done together.
