Baptisms are scheduled after the 5pm and 11am Masses. Baptisms are not private (more than one family can be scheduled for the same date). The DRE will call to confirm the date. And arrange baptism prep if necessary. Baptism prep is required for any parents who have not previously participated in one before.

A Godparent must be a Confirmed Catholic, at least 16 years old, and in good standing with The Catholic Church (IE not married outside of The Church). Only one Godparent is needed. Up to two is allowed. If there are two, one must be male and one must be female. A note regarding a non Catholic Godparent (Christian Witness): A baptized person who belongs to another Christian community may be admitted only as a “Christian witness” (not a godparent) provided that there is at least one Roman Catholic godparent who fulfills the above criteria. A non-baptized person cannot be a witness.
