The Spirit of Life Knights of Columbus will be sponsoring a Breakfast from 9:00am–12:30pm on Sunday, December 8th in the Spirit of Life Activity Center. A free-will donation will be accepted that will support and benefit the Spirit of Life Mother Teresa Outreach. The menu includes pancakes, french toast, ice cream, sausage, eggs, juice and coffee!
As a gift to you from the parish this Advent, we have the book “33 Days to Eucharistic Glory” by Matthew Kelly available in the gathering space. The 33 Daily Readings for this book start December 10th and goes through January 11th. Father Streifel will be leading a book discussion on this book at 5:30pm on Thursday December 19th, January 2nd and 9th. This will be held in the Activity Center.
There will be two Priest’s hearing confessions on Wednesday Night’s from 7:00-8:00pm during Advent. There will also be additional Confessions heard during Advent on Thursday, December 5th and 19th and Monday, December 23rd. These all will be held from 7:00-8:00pm.
Once again for our giving tree we are partnering with the Women’s Care Center to provide Christmas Gifts for their clients and children. The Women’s Care Center provides many services to our community, including free ultrasounds and pregnancy testing. The giving tree is located in the church gathering space. All gifts should be brought back to Spirit of Life, unwrapped with the tag by December 18th.

Solemnity of The Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary (December 8th) falls on a Sunday this year. This Feast of the Patroness of our Nation and Diocese is being transferred to Monday, December 9th. December 9th is a Holy Day of Obligation. Mass Times are: Spirit of Life: December 9th: 7:00am, 9:00am and 6:00pm. St: Anthony: December 9th: 7:00pm.
Thanksgiving Day Mass will be at 10:00am on Thursday, November 28th at Spirit of Life. The parish office and Mother Teresa Outreach will be closed on Thursday and Friday-November 28th and 29th in observance of the Thanksgiving Day Holiday. We wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving!
It's time to start building this year's Children's Christmas Choir. Kids between 3rd and 8th grades are welcome to participate. First practice will be Tuesday, November 26th at 6:30pm. Once again, this year our outreach program will be providing Thanksgiving Food Boxes for those in need in our community. We will be giving these boxes away the week before Thanksgiving, November 18th–20th. We are looking for donations of boxed stuffing, instant potatoes, gravy, canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned soups, cranberry sauce and whole turkeys. We would appreciate any food Thanksgiving related. If you would like to make a donation, please drop off donations in the activity center Monday-Friday from 10:00am-3:00pm or at the parish office. Thank You! Your donations truly help make Thanksgiving Day a blessed one for so many families!
We will be having our next Catechetical Talk on Tuesday, November 19th at 6:30pm. The topic is “Virtues and Vices.” The talk will be around an hour with a question/answer period to follow. It will be lead by our DRE Konnor Peterson. No need to register and all are welcome to attend!

We will be holding our annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner on Thursday, November 14th at the Mandan Eagles Club(1400 Collins Ave). Social will start at 5:00pm and Dinner will be served at 6:00pm. We would not be able to do all we do without the gracious help of our volunteers. There is no need to RSVP. We hope to see you all there!
We will have an All Soul’s Mass on November 2nd at 9:00am at Spirit of Life. All are welcome to attend! Parishioners who have passed in the last year will be remembered at our Mass of Remembrance on November 2nd at 5:00pm, which will be held in conjunction with the regular 5:00pm Saturday Night Mass.

This will be held in conjunction with our regular 5:00pm Saturday Night Mass. Please keep Steve Quintus in your prayers as he prepares to be ordained as a Permanent Deacon of the Diocese of Bismarck this month. All are welcome to come to the Ordination Mass at 2:00pm on Friday, October 25th at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit. The Mother Teresa Outreach will be closed all day that day and the parish office will close at Noon that day to allow staff to attend the Ordination. Please join us in congratulating Steve!

The activities include: 1:00pm–walk starts at Christ the King, 1:45pm-prayer service at St. Joseph’s and 2:30pm-rosary at Spirit of Life. Refreshments will be provided at each stop.
